SESSION I: Wild Foragers

We live in a world where we are pulled in a million different directions! During this week long experience students will be given the opportunity to slow down as they are fully immersed in the natural rhythms of the world around them and connect deeply with nature as they learn how to identify, gather, and use plants that are local to our area.

The day will be spent outdoors identifying wild plants that can be safely foraged and harvested for a variety of practical uses in everyday life. Students will have hands on experience as they wildcraft and learn how to use these wild plants. There will be time for play and creative exploration, while learning to nature journal and draw their findings using different mediums such as water color, colored pencil, and chalk pastel.

The ultimate goal will be that each student will have an awakening of wonder in the natural world around them, as well as an introduction of a new skill that they can carry with them throughout life and share with others!

SESSION II: Sapling Nature and Creative Art

This camp is tailored for our younger camper with lots of time for natural exploration and creative play. Each day will include a nature walk with guided nature journaling, art, pony care, and games!

SESSION III: Nature and Creative Art

Students spend the day fully immersed in the open air with plenty of time for natural exploration, guided nature journaling, art, swimming and time making connection with friends, new and old!

SESSION IV: Shakespeare in the Open Air

Students will participate in the production of their own theatrical performance of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest. This will be an intensive week of learning the story of the play, memorizing lines, blocking, designing sets, and planning props and costumes. Just as the title indicates this will be a fully outdoor experience, evoking the drama and winsome essence of nature! A final performance will be held outdoors on

Friday, July 29th at 7PM.
